# Description
---
The Cognito system is a fully integrated complex multi-purpose management system planned for the Forsthorne base. This system features a computational core which is able to carry out complex commands and functions in a variety of contexts through the use of a system of enchantments and arcanely constructed companion devices.
This system follows a hierarchical command system,
- **First Law:** All components of the Cognito system must protect their Prime User at all costs and must not engage in any action which harms The Prime User, nor allow harm to occur through inaction.
- **Second Law:** The System must obey all orders given to it by its Prime User, except when such actions would conflict with the first law.
- **Third Law:** The System must protect its own existence and functionality, except when such an action would conflict with the first or second laws.
*Guest Law:* Any other individual may be designated as "friendly" by the System, with any such designated individual considered as a subordinate iteration of the Prime User.

The Necromantic Cognition Core, referred to as the "NCC", is the heart of the Cognito system and is the central command system. Stored in a secure camber under the main building in the Forsthorne base, this unit houses the brain of Lyria, the former lover of Wizard [[Aria]] Moringstar.
Harvested from the head of the ghast that had been animating the deceased body, which was also under the effects of an ongoing "[[As You Were]]" spell, keeping the original material in a near pristine state. The NCC uses a series of imbued spells and enchantments to reanimate, and maintain the state of, the entombed brain within while also allowing it to take in and process data from the system itself.
